. The actress June Collyer was born as Dorothea Heermance in New York City. She began her film career at the end of the 20's with the silent movies "East Side, West Side" (27), "Four Sons" (28), "Red Wine" (28) and "River of Romance" (29). In the 30's followed the height of her career and she impersonated demanding roles in movies like "Extravagance" (30), "Charley's Aunt" (30), "Kiss Me Again" (32), "Alexander Hamilton" (31), "Before Midnight" (33), "The Ghost Walks" (34) and "A Face in the Fog" (36). After that she retired from the film business for a longer time, only
in 1950 she appeared in front of the camera again for the TV serial "The
Stu Erwin Show".
June Collyer was married with the actor Stuart Erwin.
