. The actor Jack Ellis began his career at the theater before he entered the film business in 1913 where he remained active for few years. He made his screen debut with "The Autocrat of Flapjack Junction" (13), it followed "His Blind Power" (13) with Romaine Fielding, "The Squaw Man" (14) with Dustin Farnum and "The Battle of Ballots" (15) with Charles Bryant. Already in the second half of the 10s came his last cinematical works into being, among them "The Bond of Blood" (16), "Her Right to Live" (17) with Peggy Hyland and Antonio Moreno, "Miss Deception" (17) with Mary Moore, "The Stolen Treyty" (17) with Earle Williams and Corinne Griffith and "The Venturers" (17) with Agnes Ayres.
