. The Hungarian actor and director Sandor Goth belonged to the film pioneers in Hungary. He already realised movies as a director from 1912, among them "Tata, mint dada" (12), "Benjamin karrierje" (12), "A pater és a Péter" (12), "A Papagaly" (13), "A csikos" (13) and "Az anyasziv" (17). He shifted his activity from direction to acting from 1917 and for the time being he impersonated few roles in the silent movie era like "Tavasz a telben" (17) and "Lili" (18). In the 30s came several more movies into being in which he took part
as an actor, among them one of the first Hungarian sound movies at all
with "Az orvos titka" (30).
