The actor Ferdinand Gottschalk was especially in the 30's a much demanded
support actor and he took part in numerous movies.
He came from the theater when he started his film career in the silent
movie era, to his first movies belong "Please Help Emily" (17) and "My
Wife" (18).
In the 20's followed only one more movie with "Zaza" (23).
With the rise of the talkies his engagements in front of the camera
increased rapidly and he impersonated countless smaller roles.
