. The actress Edna Hunter was already successful on stages when she entered the film business in 1915. Already in her first year she appeared in numerous movies like "A Witch of Salem Town" (15), "A Strange Disappearance" (15), "The Woman Who Lied" (15) and "The Reward" (15). She continued her film career in the next years and took part in "The Hoax House" (16), "The Haunted Bell" (16), "The Fool" (16), "The Man Across the Street" (16), "The Common Law" (16), "A Wife's Folly" (17), "Two Little Imps" (17) and "The Unchastened Woman" (18). To her regular film partner belonged King Baggot with whom she appeared often in front of the camera, directed by Henry MacRae. Edna Hunter died of pneumonia at the age of only 44 in 1920.
