1884 - 1973

She gained a foohold in the film business in 1915 and made her film debut with "John Halifax, Gentleman" (15). 
In the next years she appeared in the productions "Infelice" (15), "Sally Bishop" (17), "Saint and Sinners" (16), "The Enemy" (16) and "The Sixteenth Wife" (17).

Till the end of the 10's she impersonated roles in the movies "The Other Woman" (18), "Bonnie Annie Laurie" (18), "Miss Adventure" (19), "The Marry-Go-Round" (19) and "A Girl in Bohemia" (19).

Her lasts cinematical works came in the 20's into being and she took part in "At the Mercy of Tiberius" (20), "Black Shadows" (20), "Shifting Sands" (23) and "Forbidden Cargoes" (25).

Beside the acting she also realised some movies as a director and was busy as an editor.
Peggy Hyland was married with the director Fred LeRoy Granville.
