Die Schauspielerin Zena Keefe begann ihre auf die Stummfilmzeit beschränkte
Filmkarriere 1911 mit Filmen wie "All Is Fair in Love and War" (11) und
"The Cabin Boy" (11).
Danach folgten viele filmische Arbeiten wie "The Struggle" (12), "The
Hieroglyphic" (12), "The Spider's Web" (12), "The Black Sheep" (12), "The
Mills of the Gods" (12), "The Carpenter" (13), "The Tigress" (15) und "The
Unforgiven" (15).
In der 2. Hälfte der 10er Jahre entstanden vermehrt auch Filme
in Spielfilmlänge, die ihren Bekanntheitsgrad weiter steigerten.
Sie verkörperte Rollen in den Produktionen "Her Maternal Right"
(16), "Caprice of the Mountains" (16), "La vie de Bohème" (16),
"The Meeting" (17), "An Amateur Widow" (19) und "Picadilly Jim" (19).
Ihre letzten filmischen Arbeiten entstanden in den 20er Jahren, darunter
"The Woman God Sent" (20), "Red Foam" (20), "After Midnight" (21), "Prejudice"
(22), "The Broken Violin" (23), "The Lure of Love" (24) und "Trouping with
Ellen" (24).
