Eric Maturin

The actor Eric Maturin joined the silent film in 1919 and he made his screen debut with the role of Captain Arthur Mason for the movie "Wisp o' the Woods" (19).
After a longer interruption followed two other silent movies with "The Naked Man" (23) and "His House in Order" (28).

His cinematical works remained sporadically in the sound film era as well.
Among others he took part in the productions "The Squeaker" (30), "The Face at the Window" (33), "Sanders of the River" (35), "The Almost Perfect Murder" (39), "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp" (43) and "A Canterbury Tale" (44).

His last appearances in front of the camera came in the 50s into being, especially for TV productions, among them an episode of the serial "Sherlock Holmes: The Empty House" (51).
