. The actress Mary Moore began her brief film career already in 1914 with movies like "The Brute" und "Lola". In the next years she took part in the silent movies "Prohibition" (15), "The Meddler" (15), "The Great Divide" (15), "The Unconventional Girl" (16) and "Miss Deception" (17). Her much demanding career came to an abrupt end when she died of influenza at the age of 28 during her duty for the Red Cross in France. She was buried with military honours. Her brother Joe Moore was also an actor, he died prematurely too when
he drowned at the age of 31 in 1926. Her other brothers Matt Moore (1888-1960),
Owen Moore (1886-1939) and Tom Moore (1883-1955) were also actors.
