.
. The Danish actor Lauritz Olsen belonged to the film actors of the first hour whose appearances in front of the camera can be backdated to 1907 where he played a cavalier in the movie "Kameliadamen" (07), directed by Viggo Larsen. He only appeared sporadically in movies in the next years, to these productions belong "Livets storme" (10), "Vor tids dame" (12), "En slem dreng" (15), "Danse-Galskab" (18) and "Vaeddeloberen" (19). To his last silent movies belong "Silkesstrumpan" (21), "Kärlek och hypnotism" (21) and "Vester Vow-Vos" (27). When the talkies replaced the silent movie era he was not active in
front of the camera for many years. Only in 1948 he made his comeback with
"Tre er efter" (48), it followed the movies "For frihed og ret" (49) and
"Blaendvaerk" (55).
