The actress Lillian Rich joined the film business in 1919 and she made
her debut with "The Day She Paid" (19).
In the 20s she was able to launch an impressive film career and she
took part in numerous productions.
To her well-known movies of those years belong "Half a Chance" (20),
"The Millionaire" (21), "Man to Man" (22), "The Phantom Horseman" (24),
"The Golden Bed" (25) directed by Cecil B. DeMille, "A Kiss in the Dark"
(25), "Simon the Jester" (25), "Ship of Souls" (25), "Braveheart" (25),
"The Golden Web" (26), "Whispering Smith" (26), "Wanted: A Coward" (27),
"The Forger" (28) and "High Seas" (29).
With the rise of the sound film she was pushed back to the second row
and she only impersonated small roles.
To her last movies belong "Morals for Women" (31), "Riptide" (34),
"Dangerous Intrigue" (36), "San Francisco" (36), "Arsène Lupin Returns"
(38) and "Dr Kildare's Crisis" (40).
