. The actor Ermanno Roveri was one of the first child actors of the early Italian silent movies. Under the pen name Frugolino he appeared in numerous movies. To these movies belong "Il trabocchetto punitore" (12), "Il piccolo cerinaio" (14), "Dagli Appennini alle Ande" (16), "Christus" (16), "La stirpe" (18) and "Un segreto nel chiostro" (19). His last movies as a teenager came at the beginning of the 20s into being with "La banda dei rossi" (20) and "Il disco d'oro" (21). It lasted ten years before he continued his film career as an adult
and from 1931 he took part in Italian productions time and again.
In the last years of his life he only appeared rarely in front of the camera, among them "I due sergenti" (51), "Le avventure de topo Gigio" (61) and "Flicita Colombo" (68). Ermanno Roveri was also active at the theater besides his engagements
for cinema and television.
