But she began her acting career at Vaudeville in New York before she was signed by Vitagraph Studios where she shot her first movie. 
Afterwards she went zu the Kalem Company and took part in numerous movies like "Accidents Will Happen" (12), "The Kidnapped Conductor" (12), "In Peril of Their Lives" (12), "The Pony Express Girl" (12), "The Last Blockhouse" (13), "The Redemption" (13), "The Cheyenne Massacre" (13), "The Girl and the Gangster" (13), "The Invaders" (13), "The Man Who Vanished" (13) and "The Big Horn Massacre" (13).

She reached the height of her career in the middle of the 10's and she appeared in different genres like western, comedies, dramas and from 1915 also in a whole string of movies with the figure of a female detective. 

Till the end of the 10's she took part in the productions "Trapped" (14), "The Master Rogue" (14), "The Quicksands" (14), "The Potter and the Clay" (14), "The Girl Detective" (15), "Ham in a Harem" (15), "The Closed Door" (15), "The Vanishing Vases (15), "The Secret Code" (15), "The Man on Watch" (15), "Black Magic" (16), "A Battle in the Dark" (16), "Border Wolves" (16), "The Black Rider of Tasajara" (17), "The Secret of Lost Valley" (17), "The Door in the Mountain" (17), "The Ghost of the Desert" (17), "The Vanity Pool" (18) and "The Gray Wolf's Ghost" (19). In many of her movies she played at Hoot Gibson's side.

Marin Sais got married with the western actor Jack Hoxie in 1920 whe she already met in 1916 while filming. 
They often acted together in the next years, normally in western and Marin Sais also cleaved to this genre after their divorce in 1925. 
To her movies of those years belong "Dead or Alive" (21), "The Hellion" (24), "A Roaring Adventure" (25), "Men of Daring" (27), "A Son of the Desert" (28) and Come and Get It!" (29).

With the rise of the talkies she appeared increased in so-called low budget movies and they were with few exceptions also western movies. 
She continued her film career till to the end of the 40's, to her numerous appearences belong "The Fighting Cowboy" (33), "Circle of Death" (35), "Drums of Destiny" (37), "Phantom Gold" (38), "The Mad Empress" (39), "Sky Bandits" (40), "Saddlemates" (41), "The Iron Claw" (41), "Murder in Times Square" (43), "Enemy of Women" (44), "Girls of the Big House" (45), "Stagecoach to Denver" (46) and "Big Town After Dark" (47).
