. The actress Iva Shepard already conquered the film business in 1910 and within few years she became a demanded actress. To her first movies belong "The Wife of Marcus" (10), "The Novice" (11), "It Happened in the West" (11), "The Coquette" (11) and "Blackbeard" (11). Iva Shepard took part in many other movies in the next years, among them "The Bandit's Mask" (12), "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (13), "His Own Blood" (13), "The Two Gun Man" (14), "The Conspiracy" (14) and "The Isle of Love" (16). After the movie "The Street of Seven Stars" (18) she retired from the film business. Only 37 years later she made a brief comeback with two appearances in the serial "I Love Lucy: Don Juan and the Starlets" (55) and "I Love Lucy: Nursery School" (55). Iva Shepard was among others married with the actor Joseph Singleton.
