. The Russian actor Leonid Snegoff began his film career in the silent movie era with "Broken Hearts" (26) and "The Forbidden Woman" (27). In the 30's he became a demanded support actor and he took part in well-known movies like "The Devil's in Love" (33), "We Live Again" (34), "Anna Karenina" (35) with Greta Garbo, "The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo" (35), "The Story of Louis Pasteur" (35) with Paul Muni, "Seventh Heaven" (37) with James Stewart, "Dangerously Yours" (37) and "Barricade" (39). The 40's offered him again some support roles in popular productions like "Mission to Moscow" (43) directed by Michael Curtiz, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (43) with Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, "The Mask of Dimitrios" (44) with Peter Lorre, "The Conspirators" (44) and "Berlin Express" (48). His last cinematical appearances came in the 50's into being with "One
Girl's Confession" (53) and "Silk Stockings" (57) with Fred Astaire.
