The actress Julia Stuart launched a successful and busy film career
from 1911 which lasted till 1917.
To her first movies belong "The Test" (11), "Bridge" (12), "Little Hands"
(12), "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (12), "Saved from the Titanic" (12)
- the movie was released only 29 days after the real sinking and is with
it the first filming of many others following, "The Double Cross" (12),
"Robin Hood" (12) - this is also the first movie adaption of this hero,
"The Return of Lady Linda" (13), "The Key" (13), "Jacques the Wolf" (13),
"Into the Wilderness" (14) and "Lola" (14).
In the second part of the 10's she took part again in numerous movies,
among them "The Butterfly" (15), "The Master Hand" (15), "The Common Law"
(16), "The World Agains Him" (16), "Maternity" (17) and "The Painted Madonna"
(17).
Afterwards followed a longer interruption before she appeared a last
time in front of the camera for "The North Wind's Malice" (20).
