. The actor Malcolm Tod was a well-known actor in the silent movie era, in England as well as in Germany and France. He made his film debut in 1921 with "Jack Corinthian" (21), in the next
years followed successful works with "Expiation" (22), "The Crimson Circle"
(22) and "A Bachelor's Baby" (22).
He was also able to gain a foothold in France and took part in "Le Puits de Jacob" (25), "Rue de la paix" (26) and "Mon Paris" (27). With the rise of the talkies he drew to a close. His last movies were
"The Missing Witness" (33) and "Nine Forty-Five" (34).
