. The actor George Walsh made his film debut in 1915 with "The Son of the Dog" (15). Till the end of the 10's he became very popular and he took part in the productions "The Headliners" (15), "A Bold Impersonation" (15), "Don Quixote" (15), "The Serpent" (16), "Intolerance" (16) "High Finance" (17), "Brave and Bold" (18), "Never Say Quit" (19) and "The Winning Stroke" (19). In the silent movies of the 20's he was able to continue his acting career successfully and he appeared in "The Shark" (20), "The Plunger" (20), "Rosita" (23), "The Count of Luxembourg" (26), "Striving for Fortune" (27), "Combat" (27) and "Inspiration" (28). His appearances in front of the camera diminished with the rise of the talkies, to his few movies of the 30's belong "Black Beauty" (33), "The Bowery" (33), "Cleopatra" (34), "Klondike Annie" (36) and "Rio Grande Romance" (36). Besides his activity as an actor he wrote the script for "The Serpent" (16) and directed the movie "Seventh Person" (19). George Walsh was married with the actress Seena Owen. His brother was
the director Raoul Walsh.
