The actor Harry Welchman already turned up in movies in the 10's for the first time.
To his early works belong "The Verdict of the Heart" (15), "A Princess of the Blood" (16) and "The House on the Marsh" (20).

He continued his career in the 30's with the talkies "The Maid of the Mountains" (32) and "The Last Waltz" (36).

During his whole career he directed his attention mainly to the theater, therefore he also appeared in only few movies in 40's and 50's. To this movies belong "The Common Touch" (41), "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp" (43), "Lisbon Story" (46), "Eight O'Clock Walk" (52) and "Three Cases of Murder" (55).
