. The actress Eleanor Woodruff launched a busy film career at the beginning of the silent movie era which she started with an appearance in "The Finger of Fate" (13) with Irving Cummings. She worked regularly in front of the camera till 1916 and took part in productions like "The Winning Hand" (14), "The Perils of Paulilne" (14) with Pearl White in the title role, "The Last Volunteer" (14), "The Bomb Boy" (14), "West Wind" (15), "The Island of Surprise" (16) with Zena Keefe, "Big Jim Garrity" (16) with Robert Edeson and "The Weakness of Man" (16) with Holbrook Blinn. After a longer interruption followed her last movie with "A Pasteboard
Crown" (22).
