In den 30er Jahren avancierte sie zu einer vielbeschäftigten Nebendarstellerin und agierte in Produktionen wie "Bed and Breakfast" (30), "Rome Express" (32) mit Conrad Veidt, "Hir First Affaire" (33), "The Night of the Party" (35), "Royal Eagle" (36), "Fame" (36) und "Murder on the Second Floor" (39).

In den kommenden Jahren setzte sie ihre Filmlaufbahn mit den Filmen "Cottage to Let" (41), "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp" (43) von Michael Powell, "The Wicked Lady" (45) mit James Mason, "The Years Between" (46), "It's Hard to Be Good" (48), "Flesh & Blood" (51) mit Richard Todd und "The Story of Gilbert and Sullivan" (53) mit Robert Morley fort.
