The actress Anny Duperey had to bear a bad blow at the age of 8 when
she lost her parents.
Sie attended an education at the acting conservatory in Rouen and continued
her studies in Paris where she got in contact with the theater. Besides
she worked as a model.
When Jean-Luc Godard spottet her on the cover of a magazine he engaged
her for his movie "2 ou 3 choses que je sais d'elle - Zwei oder drei Dinge
die ich von ihr weiss" (67).
This was the begin of an extensive film career and she worked together
with many well-known directors.
To her most popular movies of the 60's and 70's belong among others
"Koenigsmark" (68), "Les femmes" (69), "Les malheurs d'Alfred" (72), "Stavisky..."
(74), "Un éléphant ça trompe énormément
- Ein Elefant irrt sich gewaltig" (76) - for which she was nominated for

The theater became a bigger importance in the next years where she was
able to impersonate a bigger range of characters.

Anny Dupereay wrote two books beside her career as an actress called
