| Robert Edeson

. The actor Robert Edeson was active on stage for many years before he entered the film business in 1912. To his first movies belonged "His Message" (12), "The Hidden Trail" (12) and "On Secret Service" (12). He became established in the silent movie era during the next years and he impersonated roles in "The Mosaic Law" (13), "The Call of the North" (14), "Mortmain" (15), "The Cave Man" (15), "Big Jim Garrity" (16), "Public Defender" (17) and "Sealed Hearts" (19). The height of his film career followed in the 20s and he took part in well-known movies like "Foolish Wives" (22) - he was the replacement for the deceased actor Rudolf Christians, "The Prisoner of Zenda" (22), "Luck" (23), "The Spoilers" (23), "To the Last Man" (23), "The Ten Commandments" (23), "Missing Daughters" (24), "The Rag Man" (25), "Braveheart" (25), "Night Bride" (27), "The King of Kings" (27), "Chicago" (27), "Beware of Blondes" (28), "The Little Wildcat" (28), "A Most Immoral Lady" (29) and "Dynamite" (29). Robert Edeson managed the transition to the sound film without any problems and he continues his film career succesfully. But he was only able to act in few more movies because he already died in 1931 at the age of 62. To his last movies belong "Danger Lights" (30),"Pardon My Gun" (30), "A Devil with Women" (30) and "Aloha" (31).
