The actor Harrison Ford acted at different theaters before he made
his debut on Broadway in 1904 where was successful over the next years.
He entered the film business in 1915 and he soon became a demanded leading
actor. To his many film partners belong the stars Norma Talmade, Clara
Bow, Marion Davies and Constance Talmadge.
To his first appearances in front of the camera belong "Excuse Me" (15),
"The Mysterious Mrs. Musslewhite" (17), "The Sunset Trail" (17), "Sauce
for the Goose" (18), "Such a Little Pirate" (18), "Who Cares?" (19) and
"The Veiled Adventure" (19).
His most successful part of his film career followed in the 20's and
he took part in many popular movies like "Miss Hobbs" (20), "Her Beloved
Villain" (20), "Love's Redemption" (21), "The Primitive Lover" (22), "Shadows"
(22), "Vanity Fair" (23), "Three Miles Out" (24), "Sally of the Sawdust"
(25), "Sandy" (26), "Almost a Lady" (26), "No Control" (27), "A Woman Against
the World" (28) and "The Rush Hour" (28).
When the sound film heralded a new era Harrison Ford retired from the
film business. His only talky was "Love in High Gear" (32).
After his film career he dedicated to the theater again where he not
only appeared as an actor but also directed some productions.
Harrison Ford was seriously injured by a car accident in 1951 and never
completely recovered from it. He died six years later at the age of 72.
Harrison Ford was married with the actress Beatrice Prentice.
