To her first movies belong "Bridegrooms Beware" (13), "The Courage of a Coward" (14), "The Suicide Club" (14), "The Bells of Rheims" (14), "Fine Feathers" (15), "Charity Ann" (15), "Another Man's Wife" (15), "The Manxman" (16), "Esther" (16) and "A Star Over Night" (19).

After that followed a longer interruption where she didn't appear in movies.
She made her comeback with the talkies of the 30's in the USA where she appeared in numerous movies. In these movies she often impersonated mature women in all variants.

To her most popular movies of the 30's belong "Crime and Punishment" (35), "Lady of Secrets" (36), "The Final Hour" (36), "Dead End" (37), "The Adventure sof Huckleberry Finn" (39) and "Full Confession" (39).

She continued her film career successfully in the 40's and appeared togehter with many famous Hollywood stars.
To her movies of those years belong "Mexican Spitfire" (40), "The Howards of Viriniga" (40), "High Sierra" (41), "Random Harvest" (42), "The Canterville Ghost" (44), "The Unseen" (45), "Life with Father" (47) and "Sealed Verdict" (48).

When television became a more important role in the 50's her work also shifted to this medium. Besides many TV productions she only took part in few more feature movies.
To her last cinematical works belong "The Secret Fury" (50), "It's a Big County" (51), "Scaramouche" (52) and an episode of the serial "The Whistler: Incident at Scrully's Key" (54).
