The actress Sandrine Kiberlain began her film career with small roles in movies like "Cours privé" (86), "Cyrano de Bergerac" (90), "Milena" (91) and "Comment font les gens" (93).
 
Only in 1994 she had her breakthrough with " Les patriotes" (94) and she earned first attention as an actress thanks to her César nomination as the most promising actress. One year later she got the César for her role in "En avoir (ou pas)" (95) and with it she managed the final breakthrough in France.
 
In the next years she confirmed her acting abilities with appearances in "Quadrille" (97), "A vendre" (98), "La fausse suivante" (00), "Emilie est partie" (01), "Après vous" (03), "La vie d'artiste" (07), "Le petit Nicolas" (09) and "Une femme d'affaires" (10).
 
Sandrine Kiberlain often worked together with the director Laetitia Masson.
 
Besides her career as an actress she is also very successful as a singer.
 
She got married with the actor Vincent Lindon and they have one child.
