. The actress Jacqueline Pierreux appeared in 1943 in movies for the first time called "Les ailes blanches" (43) and "Le soleil de minuit" (43). Till the end of the 40's followed movies like "Les démons de l'aube" (46), "Six heures à perdre" (47), "Vertiges" (47), "Scandale" (48) and "Rome-Express" (49). She continued her career in the 50's and took part in Italian as well as French productions. To these movies belong "Malavita" (51), "Le dindon" (51), "Une enfant dans la tourmente" (52), André Cayatte's "Nous sommes tous des assasins" (52), "Cet homme est dangereux" (53) with Eddie Constantine, "Il seduttore" (54) with Alberto Sordi, "Mannequins de Paris" (56) directed by André Hunebelle and "La ironia del dinero" (59). Her appearances in front of the camera diminished from the 60's, she appeared among others in Sergio Corbucci's "Chi si ferma è perduto" (60) with the film comedian Toto, "La vendetta" (61) with Louis de Funès, "La rimpatriata" (64) directed by Damiano Damiani, "Le cinéma de papa" (70) with Yves Robert and Claude Chabrol's "Violette Nozière" (78). Jacqueline Pierreux' son Jean-Pierre Léaud became also a successful
actor.
