. The actress Mathilde Seigner was born into a acting family. Her grandfather was the actor Louis Seigner (1903-1991), her mother the actress Françoise Seigner and her sister the actress Emmanuelle Seigner. After an education at the "Florent" she was able to launch a successful career at the theater and on the big screen. She made her film debut in 1994 with "Le sourire" (94) and "Rosine" (94). In the next years followed many other engagements in productions like "Mémoires d'un jeune con" (96), "Vacances bourgeoises" (96), "Mariage d'amour" (96), "L'homme que j'aime" (97), "Le bleu des villes" (99) and finally "Vénus beauté" (99), for which she was nominated for a César as best support actress. To her latest movies belong "Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien" (00),
