. The actor Jacques Villeret learned his acting abilities at the school "Cours Simon" at the conservatory of Paris where soon his comical talent was spotted. It followed first appearances for the Comédie Française. At the beginning of the 70's he dedicated to the cinema and television. To his first cinematical works belong "R.A.S." (73), "La choisie" (74), "Toute une vie" (74), "Un coup de rasoir" (77), "Robert et Robert" (78) and "Rien ne va plus" (79). He managed his breakthrough in 1981 and legendary Louis de Funès' side in the movie "La soupe aux choux - Louis und seine ausserirdischen Kohlköpfe". I followed engagements in productions with other stars like "Les uns et les autres" (81), "Le grand frère" (82), "Danton" (83) with Gérard Depardieu, "Les morfalous - Die Glorreichen" (83) with Jean-Paul Belmondo, "Edith et Marcel" (83), "Garçon!" (83), "Les frères Pétard" (86), "La petite amie" (88) and "La fête à Louisette" (88). Jacquilles Villeret experienced another height in his career in the 90's, among others with the productions "Les secrets professionnels du Dr. Apfelglück" (91), "The Favour, the Watch and the Very Big Fish" (91), die Serie "Mayrig" (93), "Golden Boy" (96), "Le dîner de cons - Dinner für Spinner" (98) and "Les enfants du marais" (99). Jacques Villeret was busy in the film business briefly to his premature
death and he impressed the public with his roles in "Un crime au paradis"
(01), "Malabar Princess" (04), "Iznogoud" (04) as Kalif Haroun El Poussah
and "Les parrains" (05).
