. The actress Beatrice Altenhofer made first experiences at the theater where she appeared on several stages, among them also the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. She joined the film business in 1913 and her first movie was "Ultimo" (13). In the next years came other movies into being with her before she retired from the film business again in 1916. To her movies of those years belong "Die Standuhr" (14), "Die verschleierte Dame" (15), "Die Stimme des Toten" (16), "Dynamit" (16) and "Wer war's?" (16).
