Friedrich Benfer

The Italian born actor Friedrich Benfer began his film career at the end of the 20's in Germany. To his first movies belong "Die Schmugglerbraut von Mallorca" (29) and "Die Flucht vor der Liebe" (29).

He became a popular support actor in the 30's and appeared in movies like "Mein Freund, der Millionär" (32), "Herz ist Trumpf" (34), "Pechmarie" (34), "Mädchenjahre einer Königin" (36) and "Schneider Wibbel" (39).

When war broke out he went back to Italy where he took part in five Italian productions - "Mamma" (40), "Lucrezia Borgia" (40), "Turbine" (41), "Oro nero" (41) and "Confessione" (41) - always under the name Federico Benfer .
Friedrich Benfer didn't continue his film career after the war.

Friedrich Benfer was married with the actress Jenny Jugo, and they also played together in some movies.
