. The actor Teddy Bill was a real comedian whose talents were already used for the big screen in the silent movie era. He made his film debut in 1926 with movies like "Die Boxerbraut" (26) and "Der Juxbaron" (26). In the next years followed the productions "Die Achtzehnjährigen" (27), "Svengali" (27), "Der König der Mittelstürmer" (27), "Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald" (28), "Der Raub der Sabinerinnen" (28) and "Vererbte Triebe" (29). He continued his career successfully in the 30's and was convincing in movies like "Die grosse Attraktion" (31), "Teilnehmer antwortet nicht" (32), "Die Vier vom Bob 13" (32) and "Abenteuer im Lido" (33). When the National Socialists came into power it marked the end of Teddy Bill's career in Germany. He went to Czechoslovakia and Austria where he was able to act as an artist under the name Teddy Kern.. He stood in Austria after the war and took part in movies like "Schicksal
in Ketten" (46), "Wiener Melodien" (47), "Das singende Haus" (48) and "Lambert
fühlt sich bedroht" (49).
