Frigga Braut

. The actress Frigga Braut finished an education as an actress and was able make her stage debut in 1905 in Hamburg. After numerous engagements at smaller theaters she went to Berlin, later followed engagements in Munich and Dusseldorf. Frigga Braut appeared regular in movies from the middle of the 20s and she normally played support roles. To her silent movies belong "Der Hahn im Korb" (25), "Die Verrufenen" (25), "Die vom anderen Ufer" (26),"Brennende Grenze" (27), "Der Himmel auf Erden" (27), "Adam und Eva" (28) and "Narkose" (29). Her tentatively last cinematical works came in the sound film era of the 30s into being with "Die Lindenwirtin" (30), "Paprika" (32) and "Das Abenteuer der Thea Roland" (32). It lasted till after the end of World War II till she made a one-time comeback with the movie "Madonna in Ketten" (49). Her son Thomas Braut (1930-1979) became an actor too.
