. The actress Stefanie Hantzsch launched her film career in the 10s and she made her film debut already in 1911 with "Im Glück vergessen" (11) at the side of Rudolf del Zopp and the later movie star Henny Porten. In the next years she took part in productions like "Das Töpfchen" (13) directed by Emil Albes, Stellan Rye's "Der Prinzenraub" (14), "Das verschwundene Unterseeboot" (15), "Seine kokette Frau" (16) with Reinhold Schünzel, "Nirwana" (16), "Mein ist die Rache" (16) with Hans Mierendorff and "Europa postlagernd" (18) directed by Ewald André Dupont. Afterwards her film career diminished. She only appeared in few more movies in the silent movie era of the 20s, among them "Der Mann im Hintergrund" with Adolphe Engers and Paul Rehkopf, "Die Schwester vom Roten Kreuz" (26) with Fritz Alberti and "Schenk mir das Leben" (28) with Grete Reinwald, Henry Stuart, Grit Haid and Jakob Tiedtke.
