Gerhard Haselbach

The actor Gerhard Haselbach joined the Reicherschen Hochschule for dramatic arts. He finished the education in 1921 and he made his stage debut at the Vereinigten Theatern in Breslau in the same year. He remained there till 1928.
In the next years followed engagements in Dresden, Mannheim and Berlin.

Although in Berlin he got in touch with the film business and he impersonated smaller roles in movies like „Das lustige Kleeblatt“ (33), „So ein Flegel“ (34), „Mein Leben für Maria Isabell“ (35), „Polo Poppenspäler“ (35), „Horch, horch, die Lerch im Ätherblau“ (36) and „Blutsbrüderschaft“ (41).

He continued his stage and film career after the end of World War II.
To his post-war cinematical works belong „Irgendwo in Berlin“ (46), „Unser täglich Brot“ (49), „Familie Benthin“ (50), „Die Sonnenbrucks“ (51) and „Stresemann“ (57).
