. The actor Rudolf Klicks already came to the film business as a teenager, where he took part in the movies "Tannenberg" (32), "Mädels von heute" (33), "So ein Flegel" (34), "Der Springer von Pontresina" (34) and "Die Reiter von Deutsch-Ostafrika" (34). Till the beginning of World War II he continued to act at the side of well-known German actors, to these productions belong "Der schüchternne Casanova" (36), "Traumulus" (36), "Das Schloss in Flandern" (36) and "Mein Sohn der Herr Minister" (37). Because Rudolf Klicks was trained in film photography and film editing besides his acting he was called up as a cameraman for the Deutsche Wochenschau at the outbreak of the war. When he got home leave two years later he impersonated his last role in front of the camera for "Sechs Tage Heimaturlaub" (41). After the war, he earned his living as a journalist and photo reporter for newspapers and magazines, including "Bild" and "Stern".
