Fritz Lehmann

The actor Fritz Lehmann got an acting education from 1936 to 1939 and afterwards he already appeared in his first movie "Unsterblicher Walzer" (39).

In the next years he concentrated to his theater career where he appeared among others at the Burgtheater in Vienna.

During World War II Fritz Lehmann campaigned for the liberation movement and was arrested in 1940 for nearly three years.
After his release he had to serve in the army.

He continued his tage career after the war, first in Austria later in Switzerland where he played numerous roles again.

He also took part in movies again and he acted in the productions "Alles Lüge" (48), "Es lebe das Leben" (49), "Der Adler vom Velsatal" (57), "Radetzkymarsch" (65), "Briefe von gestern" (72), an episode of the serial "Hallo - Hotel Sacher...Portier!: Das Lämmchen" (74) and "Abendlicht" (77).

Fritz Lehmann was married with the actress Maria Kramer. His daughter Maria Martina became an actress too.
