. The actor Nien Tso Ling impersonated some Asian characters for the German silent film of the 20s. To his cinematical appearances belong "Der gelbe Diplomat" (20), "Schiffe und Menschen" (20), "Das Haus der Qualen" (21), "Vergiftetes Blut" (21), "Eine Weisse unter Kannibalen" (21), "Die Insel der Verschollenen" (21) and "Perlen bedeuten Tränen" (21). Afterwards he only played few more roles in front of the camera for "Hapura, die tote Stadt, 1. Teil: Der Kampf um das Millionenerbe" (22) and "Maciste und die chinesische Truhe" (23). Nien Tso Ling is probably the brother of the actor Nien Sön Ling. |
