. The actor Artur Malkowsky began his career at the theater at the beginning of the 10s. He got engagements in Bielefeld and Düsseldorf before he appeared regularly at theaters in Berlin from the 30s. In Berlin he was also engaged for movies and Artur Malkowsky impersoned roles in well-known productions like „Pechmarie“ (34), „Lady Windermeres Fächer“ (35), „Der Kurier des Zaren“ (36) Manja Walewska“ (36), „Der Hund von Baskerville“ (37), „Schneider Wibbel“ (39), „Fronttheater“ (42) and „Gefährtin meines Sommers“ (43). After World War II he continued to play at theaters in Berlin, beside it he only appeared rarely in front of the camera again. To his last cinematical works belong „Jan und die Schwindlerin“ (47), „Das Beil von Wandsbek“ (51), „Stresemann“ (57) and „Nathan der Weise“ (60).
