. The actress Trude Marlen appeared on different stages after her acting education by Lori Weiser and took part in a whole string of movies from 1933. To her first movies belong "Spiel mit dem Feuer" (34), "Ehestreik" (35), "Der Favorit der Kaiserin" (36), "Sherlock Holmes und die graue Dame" (37) and "Paradies der Junggesellen" (39). Trude Marlen only appeared in few more movies during wartime like "Operette"
(40), "Die beiden Schwestern" (43) and "Fahrt ins Abenteuer" (43).
Instead of movies she impersonated many roles on stages. She played among others at the Burgtheater in Vienna and belong to the foundation members of the Kleine Komödie in Vienna. She had a short film comeback in 1988 with the movie "Borderline" (88),
thirteen years later followed the movie "Ene mene muh - und tot bis du"
(01).
