. The actor Arthur Menzel was first a successful painter before he entered the theater. He appeared on different stages, among others in Freiburg, Bonn and Hanover. He joined the film business in the middle of the 10 and he impersonated roles in several movie in the next years like "Die Räuberbraut" (16), "Agnes Arnau und ihre drei Freier" (18), "Verlorene Töchter" (18) and "Eine tolle Kiste" (19). His last silent movies came at the beginning of the 20s into being with "Tod aus Osten" (20), "Brigantenliebe" (20) and "Die Geheimnisse von Berlin" (21). It lasted more than ten years before he took part in front of the camera again. In "Mensch ohne Namen" (32) he acted in his only sound movie. Other movies with Arthur Menzel: |
