. The actor Rudolf Klein-Rhoden began his career at the theater in Czernowitz in 1891, three laters he joined the Viennese Raimundtheater. It followed engagements in Munich, Graz and New York. After his return to Germany he acted on numerous stages in Germany and his way led him to Berlin in 1902. Rudolf Klein-Rhoden entered the film business in 1913, to his first movies belong "Die Landstrasse" (13), "Pater Makaroff" (13) and "Die goldene Fliege" (14). He became a demanded movie actor in the second half of the 10s and he appeared in "Der rote Faden" (15), "Wie ich Detektiv wurde" (16), "Schatten der Vergangenheit "(19), "Kinder der Liebe" (19), "Die Prostitution" (19), "Rausch" (19), "Das Rätsel der Unbekannten" (19) and "Madeleine" (19). He impersonated numerous support roles in the silent movie era of the 20s. To these works belong the productions "Gewalt gegen Recht" (20), "Der gelbe Tod" (20), "Das Haus der Qualen" (21), "Die Amazone" (21), "Die schwarze Spinne" (21), "Das Diadem der Zarin" (22), "Marie Antoinette - Das Leben einer Königin" (22), "Versunkene Welten" (22), "Friedrich Schiller" (23), "Harry Hill, der Herr der Welt" (23), "Die Bacchantin" (24), "Kampf um die Scholle" (25), "Staatsanwalt Jordan" (26) and "Der Kampf der Tertia" (29). Rudolf Klein-Rhoden also realised few movies as a director from 1916 like "Wer war es?" (16), "Die Welt des Scheines" (20), "Ihre zwei Buckligen" (20) and "Wer war es?" (21). His brother Josef Klein became a well-known actor too. Other
