. The production designer Peter Rochelsberg made his first professional experiences as a set painter at the theater. Afterwards he took part in first set designs for movies as an assistant of Otto Voelckers. Peter Rochelsberg became a production designer himself from 1920 and he worked for numerous silent movies like "Der Teufel von Costalizza" (20), "Marcco, der Ringer des Mikado" (22), "Nathan der Weise" (22), "Lebende Buddhas" (24), "Helena" (24), "Hochstapler wider Willen" (25), "Das deutsche Mutterherz" (26), "Die Königin des Varietés" (27) and "Der Sonderling" (29). His film career came to an end with the rise of the sound film. He was only engaged for few more movies like "Wildschütz Jennerwein" (30), "Der Mönch von St. Bartholomä" (30), "Der Jäger von der Riss" (30) and "Der Herrgottschnitzer von Oberammergau" (30).
