Lidiya F. Ryndina

. The actress Lidiya F. Ryndina began her career in Russia where she also appeared in first silent movies like "Lyula Beck" (14), "Peterburgskiye trsuhchobi" (15) with Ivan Mosjukin - he later became famous in France and Germany as well, "Nikolay Stavrogin" (15) again with Ivan Mosjukin and with Nathalie Lissenko and "Zhizn trekh dney" (17) with Nikolay Aslanov. She also acted regular on Russian stages, among others in Kiev and at the Korsh Theater in Moscow. Beside it she founded an school for movie actors and she had many students who learned something about the new media film. She was also interested in mysticism and occultism and she knew the occultis Papus in person. She probably left Russia because of the Russian revolution and she went to Western Europe. In Germany she was able to appear again in few more movies, among them "Der Unbekannte aus Russland" (22) with Daisy Holms and Paul Kronegg and Alfred Halm's "Der Mann auf dem Kometen" (25) with Luciano Albertini, Maly Delschaft, Rudolf Klein-Rhoden, Rudolf Lettinger and Friedrich Kühne. When World War II arrived in Berlin she emigrated to Karlsbad and she only returned to Germany after the war. Later she lived in Paris. Lidiya F. Ryndina was married with the poet Sergei Krechetov alias S. A. Sokolov. |
