Tatjana Sais

. The actress and cabaret artist Tatjana Sais began her film career in 1936 with "Weisse Sklaven" (36), it followed "Streit um den Knaben Jo" (37) and "Mit versiegelter Order" (37). The stage and the cabaret formed the main activity in the next years. She only appeared sporadically in front of the camera. Till the end of war she took part in the movies "Salonwagen E 417" (39) and "Bel Ami" (39). After the war followed only few more movies. To her well-known post-war productions belong "Berliner Ballade" (48), "Wir Wunderkinder" (58), "Dr. med. Hiob Prätorius" (65), "Hokuspokus oder: Wie lasse ich meinen Mann verschwinden...?" (66) and "Herrliche Zeiten im Spessart" (67). Tatjana Sais coined the term "Berlinale" für the Berliner film
festivals in the 50's. She was married with the composer and writer Günter
Neumann.
