In the next years followed other movies but he found his main activity at the theater.
To his well-known movies in the 30's belong "Heideschulmeister Uwe Karsten" (33) - where he played the title role, "Abschiedswalzer" (34) as Franz Liszt, "Schloss Hubertus" (34), "Susanne im Bade" (36) and "Maria, die Magd" (36).

He only took part in two more movies during wartime - "Violanta" (42) and "Zwischen Nacht und Morgen/Augen der Liebe" (44).

Hans Schlenck was killed in action at November 13, 1944 near the Hungarian Dormand.
