Unfortunately, I know little information about the actor Wilmo Schaefer.

He started his film career as a 20-year-old with movies like "Liebe kann lügen" (37) with Karl-Ludwig Diehl and Dorothea Wieck, where he played the role of Emil, "Monika" (38) with Maria Andergast, Ivan Petrovich, Theodor Loos and Rudolf Platte, "Was tun, Sybille?" (38) with Jutta Freybe, Charlotte Schellhorn, Ingeborg von Kusserow, Hermann Braun, Hans Leibelt and Inge Landgut, "Silvesternacht am Alexanderplatz" (39) with Hannes Stelzer, Carl Raddatz, Jutta Freybe and Jakob Tiedtke, and "Wie konntest Du, Veronika" (40) alongside Gusti Huber, Wolf Albach-Retty, Grethe Weiser, Erich Ponto, Lina Carstens and Ralph Arthur Roberts.

Besides he was also active at the theater, the adjoining signature he made for the theater photographer Kurt Grote.

During World War II he was called up as a soldier. His deployment took him to North Africa, where he was killed in Tobruk in 1941.
