. The actress Hedwig Schlichter got an education at the academy for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Afterwards followed a first engagement at the theater in Stettin in 1920. Later followed engagements in Munich, Vienna, Leipzig and Berlin. Finally she also entered the film business and she impersonated her first movie role in „Tagebuch einer Verlorenen“ (29). In the 30s followed numerous other movies like „Mädchen in Uniform“ (31), „Das schöne Abenteuer“ (32), „Acht Mädels im Boot“ (32), „Das erste Recht des Kindes“ (32), „Morgenrot“ (33) and „Schüsse an der Grenze“ (33). As a Jew her career ended in 1933 and she first emigrated to Paris where she acted again at the theater. In 1939 she left France and emigrated to Argentina where she used the pen name Hedy Crilla. In Argentina she was not only active on stage again but also in movies. To her movies after the emigration belong „Ceniza al viento“ (42), „La hosteria del caballito blanco“ (48), „Tren internacional“ (54), „Invasion“ (69), eine Episode der Serie „Alta comedia: Crimen y castigo“ (71) and „El pibe Cabeza“ (75).
