Fanny Mittermayr-Terofal

. The actress Fanny Mittermayr-Terofal was born as the daughter of the actor Xaver Terofal. She appeared at the "Bauerntheater" in Schliersee, which belonged to her father, for many year and she took over the management of the theater after the death of her father. The theater endured the last months of World War II but two years later it was completely destroyed by fire. After the reopening in 1948 the theater existed for ten more years before they had to close down the theater in 1958. Fanny Mittermayr-Terofal also appeared in movies sporadically from 1919 and her first movie was "Der Schmuggler und sein Weib" (19). In the 20s followed her last cinematical works, often at the side of her father Xaver Terofal. To these productions belong"s'Lieserl vom Schliersee" (20), "Der Christus von Oberammergau" (20), "Die Gemeinde von St. Helena und ihr Kaplan" (20), "Der bayerische Hiasel" (20), "Der Ausgestossene" (21) and "Almenrausch und Edelweiss" (28). |
