The actress Christa Tordy had a short but successful period at the end of the 20's with several silent movies.
She made her film debut in 1925 with the movie "Der Seekadett" (25) and she took part in the productions "Sein grosser Fall" (26), "Die Sandgräfin" (27), "Prinz Louis Ferdinand" (27) and "Das Geheimnis von Genf" (27) in the next years.

Christa Tordy was married with the actor Harry Liedtke. When the Red Army marched into Germany they killed the couple in their house on 27th April 1945.

Christa Tordy's cousin Mady Christians was also a popular actress.
